Current qualification - Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), achieved in 2014
I have worked with children since 2002, I started off as an unqualified practitioner, I then worked to achieve my NVQ Level 3 and then later on went to achieve my BA in Early Childhood Studies and Early Years Teacher Status. I have worked with children from 6 months to 8 years working at a nursery as an key person, room leader, then moving on to Deputy Manager and then Manager.
In 2016 I had my son were I decide to step down from being Manager and started as Deputy Manager at Donkey Field in May 2017.
I love reading, learning and continually developing my professional development so that I can ensure I am providing the best care possible for the children and families, along with effectively supporting the other practitioners and the Manager of the setting.
I love doing fun activiites with the children and being creative both inside and outdoors, scaffolding the children's learning and making sure that they get the best start in their early education.
I am also known for doing cooking activities with the children and making lots of delicious snacks for children and staff to enjoy.
